                                ORDINANCE NO. 9780
        
        
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 9739,
                   ENCAPTIONED AS SET FORTH HEREIN, SO AS TO
                   AMEND THE CHART IN ARTICLE VI, SECTION 108 OF
                   THE ZONING ORDINANCE.

              	   WHEREAS, on June 23, 1992, the City Council of the
         City of Chattanooga, Tennessee, enacted Ordinance No. 9739
         encaptioned, "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
         AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS TO AMEND CERTAIN
         SECTIONS RELATIVE TO THE SETBACK FOR CORNER LOTS"; and
              	   WHEREAS, an inadvertent error occurred in subsection B 

         of Section 1 of said Ordinance;
                                 NOW, THEREFORE,
              	   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 9739, attached 
hereto
         and incorporated herein, be and the same is hereby amended by
         deleting subsection B of Section 1 thereof its entirety and
         inserting a new subsection B as follows:
             
              	   B.	Amend the chart in Article VI, Section
              108 so as to delete the following:
             
              Lot Width	     R-1  R-2, R-3  C-1, C-2, C-4, C-5,
              	   	     R-5  R-4  	    M-1, M-2, M-3, O-1
0C
              and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
             
              Lot Width	     R-1    R-2, R-3,	 O-1, C-1, C-2
              	   	     R-5    R-4, RZ-1	 C-4, C-5, C-6,
              	   	     	   RT-1, R-3MD   M-1, M-2, M-3
             
         	   BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this Ordinance shall take
         effect two weeks from and after its passage, the public welfare 

         requiring it.
